This song was a long pending farmaish since last october. I was unable to comply with this farmaish for the simple reason that I had no clue about this song. In fact, I was not aware about this 1975 movie called “Sunahra Sansaar”.

Kishore Kumar, after making a laugh riot “Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi” (1958) subsequently made serious movies touching upon serious topics. In these movies, Kishore Kumar gave his all. He was not just the producer of these movies, he acted and sang and even composed the music in these movies.

I have barely heard of this movie called “Ek Baar Muskura Do” (1972). this movie sank without a trace, and with that the aspirations of Debu Mukherji to become a Bollywood hero came to naught.

There are many critics who believe that Bollywood movies are meant to be watched for relaxation rather than for taxing one’s brain by making one to think.
I agree with that view whenever I come across movies that have far too much melodrama in it.
