“Dard” (1947) was a Kardar Productions movie. It was produced and directed by A R Kardar. The movie had Shyam Kumar, Suraiya, Munawar Sultana, Nusrat, Husn Banoo, Badri Prasad, Protima Devi, Amir Ali, Lakshman, Noor Mahal etc in it.

The tale of Tarzan was used in Hindi movies beginning from 1937. The original Hindi Tarzan movie was called “Toofaani Tarzan” (1937). This movie was a Wadia Movietone production. It was directed by Homi Wadia. The movie had John Cawas in the title role.
