The bane of the budget, and the misfortune of the entire nation, is the disastrous concept of deficit financing – a device used by the government (not just in India, but everywhere else in the world), wherein the budget outlay proposes expenses much more than the money that is there in government’s kitty.

Singh, Om Prakash, Tiwari, Bhagwan, Sunder, Manmohan Krishna, Leela Misra, Randhir, Mukri, Keshto Mukherjee etc in it. Now we know why the movie was obscure despite being a recent movie :).

In this blog, there are songs that belong to the category of “Why was this song not discussed earlier” category. Then there are cases of movies where the movie itself was/is not represented in the blog. “Aradhana” (1969) was one movie that was not represented for a long time. Same was the case with “Khilona”(1970).

This blog is about OLD Hindi movie songs. So this blog is expected to attract visitors of a particular age group. What is the age profile of majority of visitors to this blog ? Popular impression, based on hunch, would be that most visitors, regulars and contributors of this blog are middle aged people, in their 40s or more. Let me hasten to clarify though that we all feel quite young by heart though. I have repeated it often that mentally I do not feel one day older than 12 years of age. 🙂 And same is the case with other regulars of the blog too.
