The movie had Shashi Kapoor, Ragini, Jayashree Gadkar, Jeevan, Agha, Anwar Hussain, Sajjan, Kamal Mehra, Asit Sen, Kumar, Naazi, Madhumati, Kundan, Samson, Mirza Musharraf, Khurshid, W M Khan, Mirajkar, Mansaram, Tiger, Ameen Sayani, Vishi etc in it.

This is the Rafi-Asha duet recorded for Neela Akash(1965) but not used in the movie. It is a shame that such a song could not find place in the movie and was relegated to anonymity. Some might say that the other songs used in the film were better than this so this was edged out. But I do not agree.

“Deewaar” (1975) must be regarded as one of the most influential movies of its time. Unlike most Hindi movies, the music of this movie only had a marginal role to play in the success of the movie. In fact no song of this movie figured in the Binaca geetmala finals.
