“Laawaaris” (1981) received a poor rating in the Hindi weekly magazine (Saaptaahik Hindustan) that I used to read those days. The movie reviewer (Ishwar Singh Bais) opined that the best scene in the movie was the scene where “The End” appeared on the screen.

It was pointed out recently to me that I had not posted any songs from “Laal Patthar” (1971). I too am surprised because I was under the impression that I had posted at least one song fom this movie.

I am vaguely aware of the movie “Insaan Jaag uthaa” (1959). Now I know that this movie had Sunil Dutt and Madhubala in lead roles. I was not aware earlier that the two had worked together in a movie.
