In 1946, the renowned Ghulam Haider took a very young 18 year old girl to Filmistan Studio, to introduce her to S Mukherjee. The young girl went through a voice audition for the big boss of Filmistan, who summarily rejected her, saying that her voice was too thin, without depth and without range. A disappointed Ghulam Haider had remarked to S Mukherjee, that he would one day regret this decision, and the world will know the capabilities of this artist.

Ah, good to be back, and sincere apologies to all who may be wondering after all why does he start something and then seem to disappear.
