Millions of people came to Bombay with dreams in their eyes, but not all were able to fulfil their Dreams. Very few- the lucky and fortunate ones- could achieve their goals in life here.

I am told that a section of movie watchers in the past were addicted to melancholism the same way some people are addicted to alcoholism. They would watch sad melancholic movies and come out of the movie hall immensely satisfied after shedding bucketful of tears during their stay in the movie hall.

When I was in school, I did not see a single movie in a movie hall for six years. It was more by compulsion rather than by choice, of course. Wonderful gems still to waiting to be rediscovered, and in the queue for making an appearance on this blog. Well, one day this treasure may all be known and documented, but thankfully, that day is still a long way off. And the journey of the musical bandwagon on this blog, continues on its merry way, searching, researching, documenting and posting. Oh, what a joy.

“Paanch Dushman”(1973), though a recent movie by the standards of this blog is an obscure movie. From the little that I know, this movie was produced and directed by Manu Narang. The movie had Manu Narang, Pran, Vinod Khanna, Prem Chopra. This is what I have been able to gather from sites that claim to know everything about every movie but their information often leave much to be desired. I have also read some other names as the director of this movie. Not just that, this movie is even confused with another movie called “Daulat Ke Dushman”(1981). And as can be seen, the cast above does not name a lady either.
