When film making started in India, most films-i.e. about 98 %, were based on Religious Mythological or Folk stories. Even in that early era, there were Producers and Directors, who dared to make films on unusual but interesting subjects like Fictional kingdoms, highly scientific discoveries etc. Worth mentioning are a few films like Prabhat’s ‘ Wahan alias Beyond the Horizon’-1937, Prakash pictures’ ‘Mr. X’-38, Ranjit’s ‘ Prof. Waman M.Sc.’, Sagar’s ‘ 300 days and after’-38, Adarsha Chitra, Calcutta’s ‘ India in Africa’-1939 (first film to do shooting outside India, in foreign countries), Sagar’s ‘ Mahageet ‘-37 and the best film by Prakash Pictures-” Khwaab ki duniya’-1937. ( there may be some more such films too).

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2010-2020) – Song No. 87

Welcome all to the ‘Blog Ten-Year Challenge’ series where today we will have a song after a gap of almost a month. Last song posted under the ‘challenge’ was on 25.09.2020.
We missed some opportunities, but today hopefully we will have two songs in this challenge.
If we see the songs posted ten years back on this day (20.10.2010), we had only three posts on that day as given below;

Blog 10-Year Challenge (2010-2020) – Song No. 78

This day ten years ago viz 13 september 2010 saw six songs getting covered. The fist post appeared at 6:06 AM whereas the sixth and final post of the day appeared at 17:37 AM. Six songs posted within 91 minutes. That is called making short work of the daily blog target ! 🙂
Here are the details of the six songs discussed on 9 september 2010:-
