“Chor police” (1983) was the directorial debut of Amjad Khan and produced by his wife Shehla Khan and Vinay Kumar Sinha (who was Amjad Khan’s secretary too). It was presented by Cinema International. It had R D Burman’s music and songs were written by Nida Fazli & Vithalbhai Patel (as per the movie’s titles). Suresh Wadkar, Asha Bhonsle, Manna Dey, Lata Mangeshkar, Vinod Sehgal and Vanita Mishra were the playback singers used.

‘Chowki No 11’ (1978) was produced by Kuki and directed by VK Sobti for Siddharthas. The movie had Vinod Mehra, Zarina Wahab, Jagdeep, Amjad Khan, Kader Khan, Aruna Irani, Katy Mirza, Manmohan, Yunus Parwez, Vijay Behl, Krishna Dhawan, Madhup Sharma, Dimpy Chauhan, V Suri, Master Ravi, Master Bittu etc in it. Jeetendra had made a special appearance in the movie.

The movie had Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Hema Malini, Parween Babi, Lalita Pawar, Arti, Dr Shreeram Laagoo, Sajjan, Master Bittu, Kader Khan, Jagdish Raj, Mohan Sherry, Vikas Anand, Goga Kapoor, Kirti Kumar, Yunus Parwez, T P Jain, Gurbachan, Gyandev Agnihotri, Subhash Sharma etc in it, with Omprakash, Ram Sethi and Jagdeep in guest appearances.

Hullo to all in Atuldom.
So we have now reached 11200 songs on the blog. I remember there were various things happening, same time last year. We were on our road to 10000. We were having a series running which was introducing each and every contributor of the blog. The most silent character in our Atuldom (as far as sending contributions to the blog in the form of posts or write-ups) has reached 900. Wow!
