When I look back at the list of songs, I find that there are lots and lots of “weepy” songs in Hindi movies. In fact I need to open a new category names like this. Clubbing them all as sad songs will not do.

If one makes a list of actors for whom Rafi has sung, the list of names will run into hundreds of names. In addition to singing for well known legendary actors, Rafi has sung for lesser actors too.

I have been posting songs from “Anmol Ghadi”(1946) these days. This movie was a monster hit during its time and its songs are popular even today. These days I am posting songs from “Pooja Ke Phool” (1964). I have noticed that this movie has some wonderful songs in it. So far I have posted two songs from this movie which were sung by Lata. These songs are easily among the best songs that the Lata-Madan Mohan combination gave us in their long association.
