Today 13th Janunary’2023 is the ninety-seventh birth anniversary of yesteryears Director and Producer Shakti Samanta. He is known for his successful association with Rajesh Khanna-R.D. Burman-Anand Bakshi and other well-known actors like Shammi Kapoor and others.
Shakti Samanta was born on 13th January’1926 and he passed away on 9th April’2009.
He founded his banner ‘Shakti Films’ in 1957. He produced and directed many films under this banner.

These days I am looking for missing movies of Lyricist Ravindra Jain (of course he is the music director as well), from the seventies, for some obvious reasons.
Recently I came across one such movie which I am not much aware of and I think I never got to listen to its songs. But, after listening to its songs I find the holi song a familiar one and I was also surprised that it has not been posted on the blog so far. (however I guess it must have been sent by our other team members?)

I was under the impression that this movie is already available on the blog, but it’s not the case. So, today we get introduced to this movie and it makes its debut on the blog.
It seems that this movie was inspired by the huge success of the movie ‘Jai Santoshi Maa-1975’. However, I do not remember this movie and either its songs.
