I have mentioned it in one of my earlier posts that I am trying to introduce Bhupinder Singh songs from his early career i.e. sixties to end-seventies. There are many popular and great gems that he has sung in the eighties and though they will also be coming, let us first bring here some of his earlier songs which are still missing from the blog.
Today’s song sung by Bhupinder Singh is a duet song with Asha Bhonsle. It is from an un-released movie titled as ‘Mauqaa’.

————————————————————————————–
On this date ten years ago (24 May 2013),seven songs from seven digfferent movies was covered in the blog. Here are the details:-
| Post No | Song Title | Name of the movie | Remarks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8120 | Ajeeb hai zindagi ki manzil | Aakaash(1953) | 6 songs covered out of 7 by now |
| 8121 | Beemaar e muhabbat ka itna sa fasaana hai | Teesri Gali (1958) | 4 songs covered out of 6 by now |
| 8122 | Sainyya haay haay haay tere gaaon mein | Opera House (1961) | 6 songs covered out of 7 by now |
| 8123 | Chale aana sanam uthhaaye kadam | Dekha Pyaar Tumhaara(1963) | 2 songs covered out of 6 by now |
| 8124 | Umr to pyaar karne ki aayi | Zindagi(1976) | Movie YIPPEED in the blog by now |
| 8125 | Chhodo ye nigaahon ka ishaara | Inkaar(1977) | Movie YIPPEED in the blog by now |
| 8126 | Kaanton se chhedte hain mere jigar ke chhaale | Qeemat(1946) | Movie YIPPEED in the blog by now |
We observe that three movies (out of seven) whose songs were covered in the blog on this date ten years ago (on 24 May 2013) have since been YIPPEED in the blog. That leaves us with four unYIPPEED movies that are eligible for Blog Ten Year Challenge today (24 May 2023). Out of these four unYIPPEED movies, two movies have only one song left to be covered but that last song could not be located, so these two movies cannot be taken up under BTYC. That leaves us with juste eligible for BTYC and whose remaining songs are available.
