My timing is somewhat off-key these days. So much else is dragging my attention that I am missing to hit the dates, even though I have planned it in advance. With due apologies to Atul ji. 🙂 He is aware of at least two missed dates in this year, where the write ups are almost done, but could not be completed in time. Some of these dates are overdue so much that it does not make good sense to post them, rather better to wait for the next opportune moment.

“Watan” (1954) was directed by N Bhatt for Falcon Pictures. This by now obscure B grade movie had Trilok Kapoor, Nirupa Roy, Munawwar Sultana, Jayant, Gope, Madan Puri, Cuckoo, Surya Kumar etc in it.

I have noticed only today in the stats page that Rafi Sahab has just crossed the milestone of 2200 songs in the blog. The event went unnoticed and unacknowledged. So it may be alright to celebrate the occasion with another Rafi duet song in this series. Point to be noted here is all solos by Rafi sahab that could have matched this theme were already covered in the blog, leaving a host of duets with less famous female singers, which I have covered in this series.
