“Shikaar” (1968) is not to be confused with “Shikaari” (1963) though I always confuse between the two. The confusion is further compounded by the facts that both these movies have the same singers and they have sung some fantastic songs in both these movies.

This is a song that is today known to the present generation thanks to a remix song.When I saw/ heard this remix song, then the first think that came to my mind was- why they cannot make their own original music. And in case they have to use old songs, why they should not acknowledge this fact somewhere. Plagiarism is plagiarism, and it is blatant plagiarism because the golden era songs, which are being used as source material for these remixes are still fresh in the mind of music lovers.
