“Kab Kyun Aur Kahaan” (1970) was produced and directed by Arjun Hingorani. It was his first movie as a producer. The movie had Dharmendra, Babita, Pran, Helen, Asit Sen, Mohan Choti, Shetty, Pran, Dhumal, Ashoo etc in it. This movie must have done good business. So much so that he made it a point to have three words titles, with each word beginning with K. Take that, Ekta Kapoor ! :).

When one talks of a movie called “Baazi”, one normally means the Dev Anand- Geeta Bali starrer of 1952. It turns out that there was another movie with the same title 32 years later. This movie “Baazi” (1984) was a Dharmendra Rekha starrer and it did not have much impact at the box office.

Here is a Rail song from the film ‘Aap ki Parchhaiyyan’ (1964). It is a Rafi solo written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan and composed by Madan Mohan. Dharmendra is travelling in a train, going home to his parents, it would appear.

The film “Baghaawat” (1982) must be a typical Sultan Ahmed film. It is easy to guess this much from this one song only which I knew from the days it was a new and popular song and played regularly on Radio. I have seen this song also earlier maybe on T.V. because I hav’nt seen this film. A few days back, maybe weeks,
one similar situation song was posted on the blog, which brought this song to mind. I searched and found the link, and been wanting to discuss this song since then.

I have found this nice duet from the film sung by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle. The music of this film is as can be guessed from the composition is by O. P. Nayyar. And the lyricist is Shevan Rizvi.
