If one creates one or two masterpiece songs in a movie that I suppose the creators of such songs in that movie could be justified in taking it easy while creating the remaining songs. But that is not how they worked in the (G)olden days. The created one gem after another in the same movie, [...]

While watching old movie songs, sometimes we come across kids with names sounding familiar to present day fans. And they tend to believe that these kids are the same TV/ movie personality they know. But that is not always the case.

“Raaja” (1975) was a movie starring Rishi Kapoor and Sulakshana Pandit, but the movie turned out to be a flop. Perhaps public only wanted to see Rishi Kapoor with Neetu Singh, and Sulakshana Pandit could not be a suitable replacement.

The movie is called “Chhaila Babu”, but it is not the Rajesh Khanna starrer of 1970s, rather this was a movie that was produced in early 1960s.

In Bollywood movies, majority of songs are romantic songs. One small portion of such songs is the “sulking” song, where one party, typically the female sulks and the other person has to appease the sulking person.
