In my opinion, Kishore Kumar’s voice reached a different and special plane altogether during late 1960s as compared to his voice prior to earlier years i.e. pre ‘Padosan'(1968) and ‘Aradhana’ (1969). He retained that “something special” in his voice for the rest of his career. His voice was at its versatile peak during this phase of his career.

“Muqaddar Ki Baat” was produced by Bimla L Khaitan and directed by Kamal H Thakur. The movie had Neeta Mehta, Deepak Parashar, Rameshwari etc in it. This movie never saw the light of the day, though its records were released in 1983. There were eight songs in a 33 RPM record. These songs were sung by Mahendra Kapoor and Pushpa Pagdhare. Mahendra Kapoor had three solos, Pushpa Pagdhare had two solos, while there were three duets by the two.
