Hullo to ALL Atulites
Today is 29th December 2013. The 71st birthday of an actor who went on to become a SUPERSTAR like none before him. He reigned in the hearts of the Bollywood movie buffs for a long time. He had 15 consecutive hits from 1969-71. Even after that for a few years his movies were immensely popular and ladies were so obsessed with him that there are stories as to how he used to get Fan-Mail written in blood. Yes we are speaking of Rajesh Khanna who else as I am sure everyone would have understood by now.

For instance, we have covered all the available Hindi film/ non film songs of K L Saigal and there are no K L Saigal left to be covered. ‘Shabistaan’ (1951) – the film that saw the sensational and tragic end of a very young and handsome star, who had broken into the popular imagination of the cinegoers just two or three years earlier. Called by some as the Eroll Flynn of Hindi cinema, Shyam was all of 31 years old when he died following the injuries sustained in a fall from horseback while shooting for this film.
