“Piya Tune Kya Kiya Re, Tere Bin Laage Na Jiya” – this post in 2008 by Atul ji inspired me to sit through an otherwise serious (read boring) movie. Today (5 september) is Salil Chaudhary’s death anniversary. Salil Chaudhary was one Hindi movie music. Or it would be more appropriate to say that he was a pioneer of Indian movie music. He composed music in movies of as many as ten languages. Majority of these movies were in Bangla, Hindi and Malayalam though.
