The exuberant, prophetic words enunciated by a character – terminally ill, fully aware of his fate, and yet living the life to its brim. Anand (1971), the character that captured the imagination of multiple generations of viewers, has gone down in the film history as the ultimate optimist and a very endearing idealist.
