Asha ji, one of the leading lady playback singers in Indian cinema, turns 83 today. Seventy of thes 83 years have been spent in an active career, probably the longest such accomplishment by a playback singer. Time to take a breather. Ah, well, not on Atul-Song-a-Day blog. For the celebrations are afoot, and the special songs have to be processed and posted, in time for deadlines.
Talking about deadlines, in the past week to ten days, we have been missing quite a few of them. I was in email communication with Atul ji earlier today. And so it proved too.
