I am not much aware about the movies and songs of 1990s and later. So when it comes to discussing the movies and songs from these movies, I am in unfamiliar territory. When I needs to discuss songs sung by Jagjit Singh (8 feb 1941-10 oct 2011), I need the help of those regulars who are failiar with such movies and their music in which Jagjit Singh figured. Not content with that, he re adapted the same adaptation to change the gender of the main character and he thus came up with “Mili” (1975). Both these movies were critically well acclaimed and well received by the ordinary movie watchers as well.

“Ishq Par Zor Nahin” (1970) is a movie produced by “Twinkle Stars” production. Suresh Saigal was the producer whereas Ramesh Saigal directed the movie. Unlike Ramse Brothers, these Saigal brothers did not produce Horror movies, I am sure.:)

“Aatmaram” (1979) is a recent movie bty the standards of this blog, but this movie is nearly as obscure as many movies of much older vintage. The reasons are not far to seek. The movie was a smaller budget movie with actors like Shatrughan Sinha, Vidya Sinha,Bindiya Goswami,Amjad Khan etc in it. The movie was directed by Sohanlal Kanwar and the movie sank without a trace.
