So old order changes and gives way to new. 2015 is gone and now we are onto the new year of 2016. Just the change of one day changes the month as well as year. There have been Hindi movies on the theme of actual wars fought by Indian Defence forces post independence, with semi fictional narratives woven around those wars. The first one that left lasting impact was Chetan Anand’s “ Haqeeqat”, based on 1962 Indo- China war.
In this movie theere was a very touching Mohammad Rafi song Main ye soch kar uske dar se uthaa thaa that brought out the trauma of soldiers living far away from their beloved.
