“Josheela” (1973) was a movie featuring Dev Anand and Hema Malini. The makers of this movie were expecting the movie to succeed like “Johny Mera Naam” which had the same pair. But lightening did not strike the second time and the movie failed.

“Sindbad AliBaba Alladin” (1965) was a B grade fantasy movie which failed at the box office. Perhaps the movie was created much before its time. If this movie was made now, this movie could well turn out to be a big hit. Greta has posted the review of this movie in her blog and the movie appears to be one that most present day movie watchers should find a highly entertaining movie.

This is a song from “Ham Sab Chor Hain” (1956). It is a movie where Shammi Kapoor( of his pre Shammi mannerisms days) is seen with Nalini Jaiwant. From the picturisation, it seems that Nalini Jaiwant enters Shammi Kapoor’s room without his permission and policemen look at her suspiciously. She calls for Shammi Kapoor (beimaan baalma). When he turns up, the policemen are satisfied and go away. Shammi Kapoor ofcourse wants nothing of her and he tries to throw her out even though she has not yet completed her singing. The protocol in Bollywood songs is, one waits for the song to end before one throws the singer out. 😉

“Muqaddar Ka Sikandar” (1978) was not a movie that I liked much but others liked it very much. To keep up with others who liked it, I too watched it, and then I wondered what the fuss was all about.
