“Aye Baharon Haal Apna Kya Sunaye Hum” sung sweetly by Lata Mangeshkar. It is written by Anand Bakshi and composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal for the film “Lagan” (1971).
“Lagan”(1971) was directed by Ramanna for R R K Combines, Madras. The movie had Nutan, Ajay Sahni (viz Parikshat Sahni), Prem Chopra, Farida Jalal, Jagdeep, Bindu, Sulochana, Shabnam, Jayshree T, Nazeer Hussain, Birbal, Dube, Kailash Chopra etc in it.

‘Maine Jeenaa Seekh Liyaa-1959’was directed by Satish Nigam for ‘Filmistan Limited, Bombay’. It was a ‘social movie’ passed by the Censor Board on 10.12.1959. The cast of this movie had Ameeta, Ravindra Kapoor, Durga Khote, P. ‘Ishq Ishq Ishq-1974’ was directed by Dev Anand for his home productions ‘Navketan International Films Pvt Ltd, Bombay’. It was a ‘social movie’ passed by the Censor Board on 08.11.1974. I was more than six years old when this movie was released. However, I have no recollections of watching this movie at that time. I did not get to watch this movie even later. This movie is available online and I may watch it there in future. However, our dear Satyajit jee has watched this movie and he has given the story of this movie as follows:-

In the first episode of this series, we gave a list of actresses whose name began with A and who had lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice in the posts of the blog. That post covered a song picturised on an actress whose name started with the letter A who had not lip synced in Asha Bhonsle’s voice in the blog till that time.
In this second episode, I will give a list of actresses whose name begins with B and who have already had songs in the blog that were sung by Asha Bhonsle and were picturised on them. Unlike the letter A which yielded 30 plus actresses, there are only 10 actresses with letter B in the blog :-

‘Raja Rani’ (1973) was produced by Jagdish Kumar under the banner of Filmkunj and was directed by Sachin Bhowmick who also wrote story and the screenplay. The cast included Rajesh Khanna and Sharmila Tagore in the lead roles supported by Raj Mehra, David, Iftekhar, Suresh, Asit Sen, Brahma Bhardwaj, Manmohan, Uma Dutt, Pravin Paul, Dulari, Naaz, Kanu Roy, Indrani Mukherjee etc. There were some more well-known actors, like Mumtaz, Farida Jalal, Sujit Kumar and Achla Sachdev who appeared in cameo roles but was not credited in the film’s credit titles. Producer of the film, Jagdish Kumar was the production controller in J Om Prakash’s film production banner, Filmyug. So, in a way, the film can be regarded as J Om Prakash’s home production. This is the only film Sachin Bhowmick directed during his filmy career.

“Wahan Chalo Jis Jagah Aur Koi Na Ho” by Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle is my next song in the Rare/Rarely Heard songs of Asha Bhosle. This song is penned by Anand Bakshi and composed by RD Burman. The song is from the 1976 movie Dhongee!
“Dhongee” was directed by Ashok Roy and produced by Kant Kumar productions. It has a starcast of Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Singh, Asrani, Sujit Kumar, Farida Jalal, Iftikhar, and Premnath. Rakesh Roshan had a friendly appearance.
