Today 31st July 2020 is the fortieth Remembrance Anniversary of the great legendary singer Mohammed Rafi. He was born on 24st December 1924 in Kotla Sultan Singh in Punjab province of British India. He passed away on 31st July 1980 in Bombay (Maharashtra).

Continuing with the ‘Blog Ten-Year Challenge’, we have two movies eligible for the challenge today (30th July 2020). In other words, songs of these two movies were represented on the blog ten years back on this day and these two movies have not been Yippeeee’ed on the blog. 😊

We had already enjoyed a lovely song from ‘Gunaahon Kaa Devtaa-1967’on 22.07.2020 under ‘blog ten-year challenge’ of that day. Today we are going to enjoy a song from the ‘1963’ movie ‘Mulzim’.
‘Mulzim-1963’ was directed by N.A. Ansari for ‘Bundelkhand Films, Bombay’. It had Pradeep Kumar, Shakila, N.A. Ansari, Johny Walker, Neelofar, Nasrin, Champak, Helen, Mumtaz Begam, Uma Dutt, Sagar, Ratan Gaurang, Bihari, Haroon, H. Shukla and others.

Today 21st July 2020 is the ninetieth birth anniversary of lyricist Anand Bakshi (born on 21 July 1930, he passed away on 30th March 2002). As a tribute to him here is a song written by him from the 1982 movie ‘Insaan’.
“Insaan-1982” was directed by Narinder Bedi for ‘Mukesh Movies Pvt Ltd’. Narinder Bedi also wrote the screenplay of this movie.

From the three movies eligible for the ‘blog ten-year’ challenge today, we have already represented one today in the morning and taking this another one to add to the celebrations for today. This song is from the 1964 movie ‘Phoolon Ki Sej’ and it is sung by Mohd Rafi and Asha Bhonsle. This song is picturised on Mehmood and Shubha Khote, where the two lovers are singing and enjoying in their ‘famous’ style 😊
As mentioned in the earlier post total four songs were represented on the blog on 19.07.2010 including a song from this movie ‘Phoolon Ki Sej’ (1964).

Today 19th July 2020 is the thirteenth birthday of this blog. I wish Atul ji, Sudhir ji, our seniors and all team members on the blog a very happy birthday of the blog today and my greetings and best wishes to all on this occasion.
Ten years ago, on this day i.e. on 19.07.2010, four songs were posted on the blog. And they were posted in a pattern which I liked when I became a member of the blog and also this was a regular pattern in those years i.e. 2012 to 2014 (I think).
