Blog 10-Year Challenge (2012-2022) – Song No. 49
————————————————————————————–
Welcome all to this post under ‘blog ten year challenge 2012-2022’.
Today’s(30 May 2022) song is from the movie ‘Jheel Ke Us Paar-1973’.
One song from this movie was presented on the blog on 30.05.2012 alongwith two more songs as listed below.
| Song Title | Name of the movie (year) | Remarks |
|---|---|---|
| Chhod chale pyaari duniya ko | Bhaagam Bhaag(1956) | All songs covered |
| Maine dekha usne dekha pyaar ho gaya | Aaya Saawan Jhoom Ke(1969) | All songs covered |
| Baabul tere baagaan di main baabul | Jheel Ke Us Paar(1973) | 4 of 6 songs posted |
We can see from the above table that only three songs were posted ten years back on this day (still better than the current rate in the same month ten years later in 2022, which is one song per day 🙂 ).
The average of the month ‘May-2012’ was 4.12 songs per day which means a total of 128 songs were covered in the month of ‘May-2012’.
If we look the figures of songs posted in the month of ‘May’ since the inception of the blog we get the following figures.
| YEAR | May |
|---|---|
| 2008 | 0* (Blog started in the month of July’2008) |
| 2009 | 194 |
| 2010 | 64 |
| 2011 | 107 |
| 2012 | 128 |
| 2013 | 142 |
| 2014 | 75 |
| 2015 | 61 |
| 2016 | 35 |
| 2017 | 81 |
| 2018 | 67 |
| 2019 | 40 |
| 2020 | 60 |
| 2021 | 55 |
| 2022 | 33* |
We can see that the highest score for the month of ‘May’ is 194 in the year ‘2009’. And the lowest score of ‘May’ is 35 in the year ‘2016’. In the current year this month the figure stands at 33 so we can hope that it will either go past the lowest figure of ‘35’ or it may even end up in a ‘tie’ for the lowest score for the month. In these fourteen years ‘May’ has seen four centuries 194, 107, 128, & 142 in the year 2009, 2011, 2012 & 2013 respectively. There have been seven half centuries – 64, 75, 61, 81, 67, 60 & 55 in the years – 2010, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 & 2021 respectively.
