Out of these four unYIPPEED movies, two movies have only one song left to be covered but that last song could not be located, so these two movies cannot be taken up under BTYC. This is the song, part of which is shot near to the Thajiwas glacier, near Sonamarg, Kashmir. This is the route going to Laddakh, travelling east of Srinagar. Further on this road falls Kargil area, about which many people have told me is much too beautiful to miss. Laddakh is a sight to behold too. I have missed both Laddakh and Kargil, but hope to visit in future, in-sha-Allah.

As per our blog statistics Manna Da has sung around thirteen hundred and fifty songs for Hindi movies.

‘Apna Apna Aasmaan’ (TV Serial, 1992) was telecast on Doordarshan’s National Channel from December 1992. The main cast of the TV Serial included Girish Karnad, Beena, Shreeram Lagoo, Viplav Malhotra, Lalit Parimoo, Parveen Pandey, Dinesh Khanna, Hemant Mishra, Nandlal Sharma, Usha Suhail, Priya Wadhwa, Rekha Babbal, B Sushma, Kishori Ballal etc. The 13-episode serial was based on a Telugu novel, ‘Kausalya’ by Polapragada Satyanarayana Murthy, with some more characters added in the screenplay to make it a family drama. The TV Serial was produced and directed by Kailash Tuli.

Hullo Atuldom
Anand Bakshi …. a poet & lyricist who was nominated for the Filmfare Best Lyricist award 40 times that resulted in 4 wins. Poetry writing was a hobby for him in his younger days which became an occasional activity after he joined the Indian Navy due to paucity of time. He came to Bombay to try his luck at writing songs and singing for films. He got his first break in a Bhagwan Dada starrer in 1958; from then he kept getting to write songs every year.
